Funerals

If someone you know and love has died, the team at St Mary's are here to help

A funeral led by a Church of England minister can be held in church, in a churchyard, by a graveside, or at a crematorium. The minister will be there to support you every step of the way.

Next steps

If you would like your loved one to have a Memorial Stone on their grave, or to have their ashes interred in the churchyard following cremation, there are some rules and regulations that have to be followed and these can be viewed HERE.

There is also an application form (below) that you will need to complete and submit for the addition of a Memorial to be considered.

(NB This is usually submitted via the Funeral Director)
